Tier-I (CBT):

- English Language: Grammar, Vocabulary, Error Spotting, Synonyms-Antonyms, Idioms/Phrases, One Word Substitution, Sentence Improvement, Reading Comprehension, Cloze Test.
- Quantitative Aptitude: Number System, Simplification, Ratio & Proportion, Percentage, Profit & Loss, SI & CI, Time & Work, Speed & Distance, Average, Geometry, Mensuration, Trigonometry, Data Interpretation.
- General Awareness: History, Geography, Polity, Economy, Current Affairs, Science, Static GK, Important government schemes and national/international events.
Tier-II (Descriptive Paper):
- Essay Writing
- Letter/Application Writing
- Precis Writing
Tier-I Pattern: 100 questions, 200 marks, 60 minutes; negative marking of 0.50 marks for each wrong answer. The descriptive paper is qualifying in nature and is conducted in English or Hindi as per the official notification.
